Assistance

A second pair of eyes on files you may already open.

Sometimes you need a draft from a template, a summary of a long pack, or a first pass at language you will still have to stand behind. Casewelt assistance works only on content your authorisation already allows. It is not a back door, and it is not a public chatbot with your board papers pasted in.

Open the board packALLOW
Ask assistance about that packALLOW
Ask assistance about a file you cannot openDENY

Same permission, then the question

If you could not open the file, you cannot ask the assistant about it. The check is the same default-deny rule as download and share.

It stays in Casewelt

You do not paste sensitive text into a consumer writing tool. Prompts go through Casewelt. The organisation buys credits; usage is visible to administrators.

A draft is still a file

Creating a new Word or text document in a folder is a governed file, not an assistance path. Use New document when you mean a blank page. Use assistance when you mean a question.

Credits, not surprise bills

Organisations purchase credit packs. When credits run out, the assistant stops rather than silently running on. Personal and plan entitlements are listed on pricing.

Recorded like other work

Using assistance is an action in the product. It can be queried later. It is not an unlogged side channel.

You remain responsible

A generated paragraph is a suggestion. Classification, retention, sharing and signature still belong to people who can be held to them.

The constraint

Permission first. Credits visible. You stay responsible.

Prompts stay inside Casewelt. Permission is the same check as download. Credits are visible. The record is kept.

If policy forbids a class of file, assistance is refused — the same way an external share is refused.

Walk a file the signed-in person cannot read.

Assistance fails for the same reason the download fails.
