Privacy notice
This notice covers the public website at www.casewelt.com. It does not describe processing inside the Casewelt product.
Last updated: 23 August 2026
1. Who we are
The controller is Sial Networks Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13552665. Registered office: 141c High Road, Loughton, England, IG10 4LT. Casewelt is a product of Sial Networks Limited.
Privacy enquiries: contact@casewelt.com. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer for this website notice; if that changes, this notice will be updated.
2. What this website does
The site is static HTML and CSS. The pages we publish do not set advertising or analytics cookies or load advertising pixels. The contact form posts to the Casewelt API (POST /v1/public/enquiry) so we can store and respond to a walkthrough request. There is a hidden field used only to ignore automated submissions. There is no consent banner because these pages do not set non-essential cookies.
3. Personal data we process
If you use the contact form we process the name, work email, company, problem description and any optional interest or context you submit, together with a network address used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. If you email us instead, we process the information in that message and ordinary mail headers.
Hosting infrastructure may also create ordinary access logs such as time, requested path, user-agent and network address for security, reliability and abuse prevention. These logs are not used to build advertising profiles.
Please do not send passwords, access tokens, production customer files or special-category personal data in an initial enquiry unless we have specifically agreed a secure route for it.
4. Why we process enquiry data
We process enquiries so we can understand who is contacting us, respond, arrange a demonstration and take requested steps toward a potential business relationship. Under UK GDPR this will commonly rely on legitimate interests in responding to a business contact and, where applicable, steps requested before entering a contract.
We do not use a first demo enquiry as automatic consent for unrelated advertising or remarketing.
5. Who may receive the data
We do not sell enquiry data. Service providers involved in professional email, domain, hosting and IT operations may process information on our behalf, and professional advisers or authorities may receive information where necessary for legal obligations or protection of our rights.
6. International processing
Sial Networks Limited is established in the United Kingdom. Service providers may process data in the UK, EEA or other countries. Where UK data-protection law requires a transfer mechanism, we will rely on an applicable approved mechanism rather than treating a general website statement as the transfer assessment.
7. Retention
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and for a proportionate period afterwards where we need a record of what was discussed, agreed or required for legal purposes. Operational access logs, where enabled, are retained only as long as needed for security and service operations.
8. Your rights
Depending on the processing, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To exercise a right, email contact@casewelt.com. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
9. Children
This website is aimed at organisations and professional users. We do not knowingly seek personal data from children.
10. The Casewelt product
Customer content, identity records, product audit logs and other service data are subject to the terms and privacy information provided with the Casewelt service. This website notice should not be treated as a description of that processing.
11. Changes
We may update this notice as the website or our processing changes. The date above will be updated when we publish a revised version.
